The design takes a sentence usually delivered by a hygienist and gives it bright pink lettering, turning dental advice into a camp little commandment. There is no hidden metaphor required, although the phrase does become considerably funnier once it is treated with the visual seriousness of a Pride slogan. That is the whole appeal.

Queer fashion does not have to spend every minute explaining identity, resistance or history. Sometimes it can simply remind a room full of adults that brushing alone is not reaching between the teeth. Black heather, true royal and white keep the pink type bold and legible, while the unisex cut makes it easy everyday nonsense.
