So years ago we created Queer in The World, an online resource for gay and lesbian travelers who want to connect with their global LGBT family. And now, thanks to popular demand, you can own the merch with this, our new gay fashion shop providing queer fashion for the LGBT+ community.
Or really anyone who wants to look fabulously drop dead gorgeous....
Yes, in most cases we can. Just send us a email at firstname.lastname@example.org with the design you would like and the product that you think it would go best on.
We can either then make a custom order for you (generally at the same price as a comparable product) or if we really like your idea we might just add it to the store for you to purchase as usual!
Queer In The World is a registered business in New Zealand, but in order to offer friendly prices and cost-effective shipping we ship our products from four main locations: North Carolina and California in the USA, along with Mexico and Latvia.
Having locations on two continents allows us to reach customers all over the world with ease, to get products quicker to you, and to keep prices down.
Some items are stored in multiple warehouses, so in rare cases they may be shipped separately to get them to you faster.
We also have other one-off suppliers all over the world to keep prices low and quality high, and we ship directly from these suppliers in that case. Your order might come from Australia, the US, China, or even Japan!
This depends on where in the world you are located. While we are so happy we can provide free shipping to everyone worldwide, some places to take longer than other.
Your order will be sent out from our warehouse on average within 3 days of ordering and from there our average shipping times are:
USA: 5-8 business days
Canada: 6-12 business days
World: 10-20 business days
Most of our products are stored in multiple warehouses around the world for faster shipping; however, some products are sent from one location only. As such, these have longer estimated delivery times of up to 35-50 days, depending on your address, and are clearly labeled as such. Please chat with us in advance should you have any concerns.
We are working on that! But, because our products come from all over the world, it could get quite expensive and we would no longer be able to offer it for free.
But the good news is that the USPS is working with small businesses to decrease shipping times. If you have an urgent need on a specific product, ask us in advance and we might be able to sort something at an additional cost.
Don't worry! It is on its coming! The way our tracking system works is that it won't update you until the product has left the warehouse and on it's way. Most of the time the system updates within a few days of placing an order. If it hasn't, please email us at email@example.com.
Sometimes the packages get stuck in customs and it takes a moment to update the tracking info. If you don't see any movement for 10 days after getting your tracking number, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If your order didn't end up arriving, be sure to let us know!
First, check your shipping confirmation and check that you had entered the correct address. If the address was incorrect, we'd be happy to send you another order to the correct address, however, it will have to be at your cost.
If the shipping address was correct, get in touch with us at email@example.com making sure you quote your order number. All of our products are sent with tracking information and for packages lost in transit, we'll cover the costs of reprinting and shipping a replacement order for you.
Im this case, it would also be good to double check that with your local post office to try locate the lost order.
In the extremely unusual situation where your tracking informations shows the package has been delivered but you thin you have not received it, please get in touch and we will see what can be done.
Please be aware: All claims must be submitted no later than 4 weeks after the estimated delivery date.

As we ship anywhere in the world, on rare occasions it is possible that other international shipments may incur customs fees. The customs policy is different in each country, and the fee is usually based on a variety of factors like weight, value, and size. We do not take any responsibility for customs fees.
The last thing we want is for you to be stuck with a damaged item. If an order arrives damaged, then please get in touch with a photo within a week's time!
If you're unhappy with the size you've received, first check that the size stated on the garment matches the size stated on the sizing chart. Though rare, it's possible that the garment was mislabelled. Let us know and we'll get you sorted out.
If you'd like a different size, get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll let you know what your next steps are.
Remember, we ship from all over the world direct from our suppliers. That means your order might come in multiple packages. Think of it like your birthday present every time you go to the mailbox! A different package everyday! However, you should get individual tracking numbers for each of the packages.
Unfortunately, it is difficult to change your order or the shipping address once it has been placed. We aim to deliver the best products and services for you, so our warehouse is processing orders within a few hours of receiving them.
If a change is absolutely necessary please contact us within 3 hours max from when the order is placed and we will do our best to help out.
