We Are Here And We Are Queer puts the classic visibility chant beside a rainbow heart, carrying decades of queer insistence into a graphic designed for everyday wear.
“We’re here, we’re queer, get used to it” became one of the best-known chants of late-20th-century LGBTQ+ activism, especially in the United States, where visibility itself could function as a political tactic against silence and erasure. This design shortens that cadence to “We Are Here And We Are Queer,” keeping the core idea without turning the shirt into a history lesson.
The rainbow heart adds warmth to language that originally carried confrontation. It is still a statement of presence, but one broad enough to fit Pride, community life and the ordinary fact that queer people exist in families, workplaces, neighbourhoods and public space.
The black, white, grey and red raglan combinations frame the chant like retro activist merch for Pride, queer history events, community gatherings or everyday visibility. “We Are Here And We Are Queer” is a meaningful choice for somebody who actively claims queer identity and likes language with movement history behind it. This Queer In The World Original Design is printed to order, so please allow around 2-5 business days for production before dispatch. Making each piece only after it is ordered helps avoid overproduction and unsold inventory, and orders are fulfilled regionally where possible to reduce unnecessary travel. If your order includes other items, they may be produced separately and arrive in more than one parcel.
