Rainbow spikes on a nude patent pump are what happens when a Mary Jane stops being sweet.
These heels start with a classic pump shape and then attack it with rainbow hardware. The pointed toe keeps the line elegant, the patent surface stays glossy and the spikes turn the shoe into something much more queer, punk and confrontational than a conventional Pride heel.
Patent leather forms the upper, with a Mary Jane-inspired pump silhouette, pointed toe and thin heel. The platform is listed between 0 and 3 cm, sheepskin forms the insole, rubber forms the outsole and heel options are approximately 8 cm, 10 cm and 12 cm.
An 8 cm heel keeps the shoe a little more wearable, while the 12 cm option pushes the spikes and pointed toe into full showpiece territory. Pride, drag and punk-femme styling all suit a pump that carries rainbow colour through hardware rather than another striped print.
