Proud Uncle puts a rainbow flag beside family support, making one simple relationship word carry the kind of acceptance that should never need to be whispered.
An uncle can be the relative who makes family gatherings easier, asks better questions or quietly becomes the safe adult somebody knew they could call. For LGBTQ+ nieces, nephews and niblings, visible support from extended family can matter, especially when acceptance elsewhere is uncertain. This design keeps the message specific and uncomplicated. “Proud Uncle” does not borrow the queer identity of the person being supported.
It tells the wearer’s role in the story and lets the rainbow flag explain why that support is being made visible. Sometimes one supportive relative is enough to change the atmosphere of a room that otherwise feels difficult to navigate.

This Queer In The World Original Design is printed to order, so please allow around 2-5 business days for production before dispatch. Making each piece only after it is ordered helps avoid overproduction and unsold inventory, and orders are fulfilled regionally where possible to reduce unnecessary travel. If your order includes other items, they may be produced separately and arrive in more than one parcel.
