Pray The Gay To Stay takes one of the ugliest old ideas aimed at queer people, flips it on its head and gives the gay the last word.
There is real bite in turning “pray the gay away” into a demand that the gay remain exactly where it is. For anyone who grew up around religion, family pressure or the exhausting idea that queerness was a spiritual problem waiting to be fixed, the joke lands deeper than the glitchy portrait first suggests. It is irreverent because the original language hurt people. It is funny because the reversal takes back control. Faith and queerness can coexist in a thousand different ways, and plenty of queer people still love religion, hate religion, miss religion, reinvent religion or want nothing to do with it. This raglan does not settle any of that. It simply refuses the premise that the gay part is what needs removing.
Wear it to Pride, queer faith events, community nights or anywhere the person reading it will understand the reversal without needing a sermon. It is for the survivor who learned to laugh at language that once carried shame, or the person still making peace with what belief means on their own terms. The portrait glitches. The old logic breaks. The gay stays. If prayer belongs in the story, this shirt has already changed the request.

This Queer In The World Original Design is printed to order, so please allow around 2-5 business days for production before dispatch. Making each piece only after it is ordered helps avoid overproduction and unsold inventory, and orders are fulfilled regionally where possible to reduce unnecessary travel.
