My Body My Rules is not asking nicely, because people have spent quite enough time treating other people’s bodies like public property with a comment section attached.
The seated woman gives the phrase a person, which is exactly where the argument belongs. Bodies are where consent, medicine, pregnancy, transition, sex, disability, beauty standards and endless unsolicited opinions become real instead of theoretical. This raglan does not need to tell you which political issue to connect it to. The point is bigger and more personal: your body is not a committee project.
You get boundaries. You get choices. You get to say no. You get to change your mind. You get to decide how you dress, who touches you and what happens medically, while still living in a world where laws, healthcare and relationships can make those choices complicated. The phrase is blunt because bodily autonomy becomes meaningless if everybody else gets veto power.
My Body My Rules works because it refuses the usual trick of turning equality into something vague and harmless. Bring it to Pride, feminist events, campus, community gatherings or any day you are tired of softening your boundaries to make them easier for somebody else to hear. It works as a values statement without telling anyone how to vote. The woman is sitting comfortably.
The wording is not. Your body. Your rules. Other people can manage their feelings about that on their own time.

This Queer In The World Original Design is printed to order, so please allow around 2-5 business days for production before dispatch. Making each piece only after it is ordered helps avoid overproduction and unsold inventory, and orders are fulfilled regionally where possible to reduce unnecessary travel. If your order includes other items, they may be produced separately and arrive in more than one parcel.
