It’s Not Pie! uses a rainbow heart and a deliberately ordinary dessert metaphor to make one broad equality argument easy to read across a room.
The full message says that equal rights for other people do not mean fewer rights for you, followed by the reminder that rights are not pie. The analogy treats rights as something that need not be divided into fixed slices where one group’s gain automatically requires another group’s loss.
That is a political values statement in the broad civic sense, not a direction to support a particular candidate, party or policy. People can disagree about how specific rights should be defined or balanced in law. The shirt keeps its claim at the general principle printed in the design.
The rainbow heart places that principle in an LGBTQ+ context while the food metaphor keeps the tone deliberately accessible.
The black, white, green and red raglan combinations frame the rainbow heart and long text like a retro advocacy graphic for Pride, community events, campus or public discussions. “It's Not Pie” is a thoughtful choice for somebody who already identifies with the equality message. The pie joke keeps the tone approachable, but the words are intended to be read.
