Inflatable Unicorn Costume

Queer joy, inflated to magnificent proportions.

There are party outfits, and then there is arriving as a magnificent pink unicorn with a rainbow mane and a golden horn. This inflatable unicorn costume makes the whole silhouette the celebration. The oversized head, rounded body and sweeping rainbow tail turn a familiar fantasy creature into something gloriously suited to a very queer entrance.

Think Pride parade royalty, birthday-party legend or the friend who understood the costume brief with exceptional clarity. The appeal is in committing completely: a little strut, a dramatic turn, a tail that deserves its own photograph. You can bring the camp without building an elaborate look from separate pieces or spending the afternoon on makeup.

Queer joy can be soft, silly and spectacularly larger than life. Wear this because unicorns make you happy, because your chosen family will love the entrance, or because the occasion deserves a creature with considerably more color than your everyday wardrobe. There is room for your own personality inside the fantasy, whatever your gender or usual style.

The fan keeps the costume inflated while you wear it, giving that big, buoyant shape its presence. Let the unicorn do the visual work while you supply the attitude, whether that means a regal wave or your least restrained dance move. It is a complete change of character for the days you want to be delightfully unmistakable.
