I Can’t Even Think Straight turns a familiar expression into a queer double meaning, letting one line do both the exasperation and the coming-out joke.
Too tired to think straight, too gay to think straight, or both before coffee. The line works because queer people have spent years taking perfectly ordinary English phrases and discovering an accidental second meaning hiding inside them.
You can wear it after a terrible night’s sleep, during exam week, at the bar where heterosexuality was never really on the agenda or while staring at the fridge with absolutely no idea why you opened it. The white script keeps everything dry enough that the joke lands a second after somebody reads it.
No rainbow explosion, no coming-out speech, just one familiar sentence quietly refusing to stay heterosexual. Frankly, neither are you.
The black, navy and charcoal raglan combinations give the script strong contrast and a slightly moody retro shape for Pride, queer bars, study sessions, travel days or the morning after the group chat ran too late. “I Can't Even Think Straight” is a funny choice for somebody whose sexuality and attention span are equally unlikely to follow a straight line.
Wear it with jeans, boots or whatever you grabbed while thinking unsuccessfully. The shirt does not solve the confusion. It simply identifies the most entertaining interpretation of it.
