Girl Power gives a lipstick graphic the job of carrying one of pop culture’s most familiar confidence slogans, then lets the wearer decide what power actually looks like.
The phrase has travelled through feminist organising, pop music, zines, classrooms and countless versions of mainstream empowerment language, which means it can feel both familiar and open to reinterpretation. This design keeps the styling playful with a lipstick motif, but it does not make glamour a requirement for strength. Girlhood and womanhood are not one presentation, and neither is power.
A femme can claim it in full makeup, somebody else can wear the same words in boots and no lipstick at all, and trans or nonbinary femmes can bring their own relationship to the language. The graphic supplies the wink without deciding the wearer’s politics for them.

This Queer In The World Original Design is printed to order, so please allow around 2-5 business days for production before dispatch. Making each piece only after it is ordered helps avoid overproduction and unsold inventory, and orders are fulfilled regionally where possible to reduce unnecessary travel. If your order includes other items, they may be produced separately and arrive in more than one parcel.
