Gender Is A Drag gives the theory lashes, pink hair and pearls, turning a complicated idea about performance into something a cartoon queen can deliver in one look.
Drag has always understood something gender theory takes several chapters to reach: if masculinity and femininity were completely natural, people would not need this many rules to keep performing them correctly. Making each piece only after it is ordered helps avoid overproduction and unsold inventory, and orders are fulfilled regionally where possible to reduce unnecessary travel.
