Bear culture has always been bigger than a flag palette, but those warm browns, creams and black still carry a lovely sense of recognition. They point toward a gay subculture that made more room for hair, age, size, masculinity and bodies that did not always match the polished template mainstream gay culture sold back to itself.

Making each piece only after it is ordered helps avoid overproduction and unsold inventory, and orders are fulfilled regionally where possible to reduce unnecessary travel.
