Choose Love sounds soft until you remember how much nerve it can take to keep choosing care in a world that keeps trying to make people smaller.
Love that only exists when everybody is comfortable is not much of a choice.
The queer version can look like holding hands in the place where you once let go, standing beside your trans kid when the room gets awkward, calling the friend back, building family from people who chose you, apologising properly or walking away from somebody who keeps using love as an excuse to hurt you.
The rainbow heart keeps the message bright, but “choose” is the harder word. Sometimes love means staying. Sometimes it means leaving. Sometimes it means finally including yourself in the people you refuse to abandon. Hope gets much more interesting once it has boundaries, scars and a little lived experience behind it. Queer love has never needed to be easy to be real.

This Queer In The World Original Design is printed to order, so please allow around 2-5 business days for production before dispatch. Making each piece only after it is ordered helps avoid overproduction and unsold inventory, and orders are fulfilled regionally where possible to reduce unnecessary travel. If your order includes other items, they may be produced separately and arrive in more than one parcel.
