GAY, in rainbow type and with plenty of space for your own message.
Big rainbow-filled letters make this Gay Postcard wonderfully direct. The pale background gives the word room to stand out, with the color contained inside three clear letters rather than spread across a busy illustration. It is a queer greeting card for someone who appreciates strong typography, a simple message and the pleasure of choosing something that feels specifically right for them.
The front supplies the cheerful declaration; the back is where you make it personal. Write a thank-you to a friend, a note to chosen family or the short update you meant to send several weeks ago. The design can be affectionate, celebratory or knowingly blunt depending on what you add, leaving the tone of the gesture in your own hands.
There is no need to wait for Pride Month to put a little gay mail into the world. A postcard can mark a visit, accompany a gift or arrive for the uncomplicated reason that you thought of someone. Choose it for a person who enjoys this wording, with the print acting as part of the connection rather than making assumptions about anybody else's identity.
Thick matte paper gives the small format a useful, substantial feel, whether you send it or keep it on a pinboard. The clean graphic also works as a little piece of desk or wall art when you want the word nearby. A few handwritten lines can make the card something worth keeping, with rainbow type that remains clear long after the post arrives.
