All Girls To The Front comes from punk rooms where moving women forward was not metaphorical.

In the early 1990s, Bikini Kill and Kathleen Hanna famously called girls and women to the front of shows to create space away from aggressive male-dominated mosh pits. The practice became one of riot grrrl's defining images, tied to a wider DIY culture of bands, zines, feminist politics and making room for girls to be loud rather than decorative.
