Poof has a complicated queer history as a slur for effeminate gay men, particularly in Britain and Australia. Reclaiming it in giant pink lettering with drag imagery turns the insult into camp self-naming instead of letting somebody else weaponise it. Poof does not need a technical garment underneath the idea. For Poof, soft cotton, open sides and a relaxed shape are enough.

Wear it to drag brunch, queer club nights, Pride, theatre nights or anywhere the reclaimed word will be understood as camp rather than abuse. The big armholes make the 80s-drag graphic feel intentionally slouchy and club-ready instead of like a novelty tee.
