The Leather Pride Love Pillow uses A person reclines on a couch holding a Leather Pride Love Pillow with black and blue stripes spelling “LOVE” using a red heart for “O”. The artwork gives the cushion enough visual identity to work as part of an actual room rather than as Pride merchandise parked on a sofa.
The Leather Pride flag was designed by Tony DeBlase and first presented at International Mr. Leather in Chicago in 1989. Its black, blue and white stripes with a red heart became durable visual language for leather, kink and BDSM communities.
Black and blue stripes with a red heart look best in tactile, darker interiors. Cognac leather, charcoal wool, steel, dark timber and one deep red accent create a leather-community den without making it a costume set.
