A nightclub cryptid with impeccable color coordination.
The Funk Monster Faux Fur Boots look like a disco creature escaped the dressing room and found excellent shoes on the way out. Shaggy rainbow color gives the feet a gloriously oversized silhouette, bringing the kind of visual punch that can carry an outfit before you have even decided what to wear above it.
Queer camp has always had room for a little beautiful ridiculousness. These furry boots let you play with that feeling through texture and proportion: part glam-rock fantasy, part nightclub cryptid, entirely committed to the bit. Wear them for drag styling, an ARTPOP party or a photo shoot that deserves something stranger than another black boot.
Try a short hem to give the monster feet their full moment, or tuck in slim pants so the shaggy shape takes over at the ankle. A metallic jacket makes the whole look more space-disco; a plain oversized sweater brings out the absurd charm. You decide whether the fur is the finishing touch or the opening argument.
The pleasure is in making something familiar feel wonderfully off-center. Rainbow faux fur can be playful, theatrical or simply the texture you cannot stop looking at, without requiring an explanation of your identity. Build around the boots with pieces from our ARTPOP CHAOS collection, or let them be the one spectacularly unreasonable thing in an otherwise ordinary outfit.
