Gay Trash Organic Cotton Apron

Gay trash, gourmet intentions.

The Gay Trash Organic Cotton Apron is an organic cotton kitchen apron featuring Gay Trash Organic Cotton Apron hangs on a refrigerator door in a neon-lit, post-party kitchen. It takes the Gay Trash design and turns it into practical queer kitchenwear with enough personality to work before anyone has even tasted the food.

Gay trash is self-deprecating camp, not a request for municipal collection. It takes the queer habit of turning insult into identity and gives it the domestic dignity of a proper apron and an alarming amount of garlic.

Trash night, but the truffle oil is inexplicably expensive. Camp is about contradictions.

This is for queer kitchens, gay barbecues, Pride weekends, dinner parties and the friend who owns six cocktail shakers but somehow only one frying pan.

It makes a brilliantly specific gay Pride apron for the friend, partner, chosen-family icon or domestic menace who would actually understand the reference. As a funny gay cooking gift, it feels far more personal than generic rainbow kitchenware while still being useful enough to survive the sauce.

The apron itself is sturdy 100% organic cotton with adjustable back straps and a large divided front pocket. The current neck-strap design has also been streamlined for comfort, so older product photos may show a buckle that is no longer used. Queer bodies do not need to become smaller, smoother or more conventional before they are allowed to host dinner. Tie the straps where they feel good, protect the outfit and let the body exist.
