You’re Shadier Than A Palm Tree turns drag-style “shade” into a literal tropical graphic, giving the insult enough leaves to qualify as landscaping.
Shade in queer and drag-influenced slang refers to a subtle insult, pointed remark or perfectly timed look that communicates far more than the words technically say. Comparing somebody to a palm tree makes the metaphor visual and pushes the line into camp exaggeration.
The joke is not about actual hostility so much as social precision: somebody has been shady enough that the shirt has started measuring canopy coverage.
