RIP RBG pairs Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s initials with a gavel, turning the raglan into a compact memorial reference to the late U.S. Supreme Court justice.
Ruth Bader Ginsburg served on the U.S. Supreme Court from 1993 until her death in 2020 and became widely associated with legal arguments around sex equality and civil rights. She also became a pop-cultural figure, particularly among many liberal and feminist audiences, though views of her judicial record and legacy are not uniform.
This design does not attempt to summarise that record or instruct the wearer how to evaluate it. “RIP RBG” is memorial language, and the gavel makes the legal reference visually immediate. The graphic works best for somebody who already feels a personal or political connection to her public legacy.
The black, grey, red and navy raglan combinations give the white lettering a sober retro frame for legal-history events, feminist gatherings, campus or everyday wear. “RIP RBG” is a specific choice for someone who admired Ginsburg and wants a simple remembrance piece rather than a longer quotation. The shirt is not a judicial scorecard or political endorsement.
It is a memorial graphic centred on a public figure whose career remains part of ongoing legal and political discussion.
