Ally is a verb, but a visible clue that you are probably safe to talk to can still be useful.
The rainbow flag and Proud Ally lettering make this intentionally different from a shirt that borrows an LGBTQ+ identity the wearer does not claim. It says support plainly and leaves the identity where it belongs.
That makes it useful as an LGBTQ ally T-shirt for parents, teachers, friends, partners, colleagues and anyone else who wants queer people around them to know they will not have to spend the first ten minutes of a conversation testing the temperature. Of course, a shirt cannot do allyship for you.
It cannot speak up in the awkward family conversation, challenge the joke that was not actually funny, or make your workplace safer by itself. That is precisely why the design works best as a signal rather than a certificate.
Wear it to Pride, community events or ordinary Tuesday places, then make sure the behaviour behind the rainbow is doing at least as much work as the cotton.

This Queer In The World Original Design is printed to order, so please allow around 2-5 business days for production before dispatch. Making each piece only after it is ordered helps avoid overproduction and unsold inventory, and orders are fulfilled regionally where possible to reduce unnecessary travel. If your order includes other items, they may be produced separately and arrive in more than one parcel.
