Progress LGBT Love T-Shirt

“Everyone is included” works better when the design actually shows who everyone includes.

Daniel Quasar’s 2018 Progress Pride flag pushed the familiar rainbow forward by bringing black and brown stripes together with the light blue, pink and white associated with trans Pride in a chevron that literally points ahead. This design folds that visual language into oversized LOVE lettering, so the message is not generic inclusion with a footnote attached later.

Trans people and queer people of colour are built into the graphic itself, while the black stripe also carries Quasar’s stated reference to people living with AIDS, AIDS stigma and those lost to the disease. That is why this works as a Progress Pride T-shirt rather than another interchangeable “love is love” shirt.

From a distance it is bright, simple and readable; up close, queer people who know the flag can see exactly which version of Pride is being referenced and why. It is for people who want an LGBTQ love shirt with a little more visual literacy behind it than six rainbow stripes and a stock slogan.

The lightweight 4.2 oz / 142 g/m² combed and ring-spun cotton keeps the oversized lettering feeling wearable instead of poster-like, while pre-shrunk fabric and shoulder taping help the design sit cleanly. The whole point of the Progress flag is that details matter, so the shirt carrying it should not feel like an afterthought either.

Sizing note

This is a unisex T-shirt cut. Width is measured flat across the chest and length from the shoulder to the hem. Compare the measurements with a T-shirt you already like; size up if you want a roomier fit.
