A slur can lose some of its poison when the person it targeted decides to wear it in hot pink.

“Poof” has been used in British and Commonwealth English as a derogatory term for an effeminate or gay man, making reclamation deliberately loaded. Queer communities have long taken hostile words and changed who gets to control the punchline, though no reclaimed slur becomes harmless in every mouth. Worn by choice, the oversized pink lettering can turn insult into camp self-naming: femme, gay, flamboyant, unapologetic. The power comes from context, ownership and the fact that respectability was never the only route to dignity.

Keep this reclaimed gay long sleeve bold but simple, black trousers, denim, boots, a long coat, very little competing with the word. White makes the pink type loud, black gives it nightlife energy, navy makes it cooler. Queer British-slang clothing for people reclaiming the term on their own terms, not handing everybody else permission.
