LGBT Progress Pride Flag

The Progress Pride Flag is not just a brighter rainbow. Its whole point is that Pride still has work to do.

Created by queer designer Daniel Quasar, the Progress Pride Flag keeps the familiar six-colour rainbow while adding a chevron of trans flag colours and black and brown stripes at the hoist. The arrow points forward while deliberately sitting along the edge of the design, a visual reminder that progress is moving but unfinished.

That extra symbolism is why this flag has become such a recognisable part of contemporary queer spaces. The light blue, pink and white draw from Monica Helms' Trans Pride flag, while the black and brown stripes centre marginalised communities of colour. The black stripe also carries remembrance of people lost during the AIDS crisis and visibility for people living with HIV.

At 90 x 150 cm, this version is large enough to fly at Pride, hang across a wall, bring to a protest or drape over your shoulders when subtle symbolism is not the assignment. It is lightweight polyester with two brass grommets and a one-sided print, so the design remains visible from the reverse but appears lighter.
