Black and brown queer people should be visible in Pride imagery, not simply assumed to be somewhere inside it.

The black-and-brown stripe intervention was pushed into wider Pride culture by Philadelphia's 2017 More Color More Pride campaign, which explicitly centred LGBTQ+ people of colour and confronted racism within queer communities. The message was not that the rainbow had failed, but that inclusion needed to become visible and intentional.
