This Is My Straight Person Costume... Boo! treats heterosexuality like a Halloween disguise, which is exactly the kind of seasonal nonsense a queer costume joke deserves.
Halloween camp is doing the work here, not hostility. It imagines “straight person” as the temporary costume while queerness remains the wearer’s ordinary reality, flipping the old pressure to pass as straight into a Halloween gag. “Boo!” finishes the joke by making the supposedly scary reveal not a ghost or monster but the idea of being mistaken for heterosexual.
The design is particularly fun for people who have spent enough time being assumed straight that they can laugh about the mismatch. It does not claim straight people are bad or frightening. The punchline is simply that, for this wearer, straightness would be the costume rather than the authentic identity.

This Queer In The World Original Design is printed to order, so please allow around 2-5 business days for production before dispatch. Making each piece only after it is ordered helps avoid overproduction and unsold inventory, and orders are fulfilled regionally where possible to reduce unnecessary travel. If your order includes other items, they may be produced separately and arrive in more than one parcel.
